1980: Right Out of the Family Garage

John & Rose Cannarella sat their kids down & told them that they were quitting their jobs to start selling used furniture… right out of the family garage.

1989: A1 Furniture is Born

A1 Furniture & Mattress welcomes its official business name and moves into its 1st location on South Stoughton Rd. selling new furniture.

2001: Keeping Business in the Family

John & Rose (semi) retire & their son, Paul, leads A1 to new growth.

2005: A Business with a Big Heart

A1 expands with new store on the West Beltline & eventually a third location on Verona Rd. as well as a Clearance Outlet.

2020: Celebrating 40 Years
